Dodge City - Nicki Louise Webster, 54, departed this life and went to heaven on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from her home in Dodge City. She was born on February 24, 1959 at Pasadena, California, the daughter of Robert and Ruby(McKnaught) Shupe.
She lived in Monrovia, California and graduated from Monrovia High School in 1977. Nicki married Rodney Webster on February 4, 1978 in Monrovia, California, he survives. She worked for Social and Rehabilitation Services as a home health care provider, before going to work as a child day care supervisor for the First United Methodist Church. She most recently worked for the Ford County Health Department as a child care inspector. In her spare time Nicki enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother John and one sister Deanna.
She is survived by her husband, Rod Webster of the home, two daughters, Christina Towell of Dodge City; and Deanna Webster of Leavenworth; one son, Rodney Webster Jr. of Dodge City and three grandchildren, Autumn Towell and William Towell Jr. and Chaplin Otting. She is also survived by one brother Rob Shupe of Blythe, California and five sisters Helen Perkins of Azusa, California;Mary Thomas of Fayetteville, North Carolina; Roberta Avila of Bremeton, Washington; Sandy Jacobson of Naperville, Illinois and Norma Waters of Spanaway, Washington.
Memorial service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Kirk Larson presiding. The family will receive friends following the memorial service until noon on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Nicki Webster Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
