Montezuma - Our son, brother, and friend Nolan G. Koehn was born on April 10, 1970 in Wichita. He passed away on Jan 25, 2021 reaching the age of 50.

Nolan received his education in the Montezuma school system until the 3rd grade and then transferred to the Montezuma Mennonite School where he completed the 8th grade. Nolan enjoyed nature and the outdoors. He especially enjoyed the sunrises and often commented on their beauty.  Nolan enjoyed hard work and his numerous employers often gave him a good commendation. He was currently employed at Pride Ag Resources, Ingalls.

Nolan had a winning personality. Everyone he met was his friend. He was generous with his hugs and "I love you's". Nolan faced many obstacles in life and our hearts today are broken. We leave him in the hands of an almighty and all knowing God.

Those left to mourn his passing are his partner Leah Brown of Ingalls; parents Calvin and Velma Koehn of Montezuma; brothers, Kyle and wife Lola of Greeley, Colorado and Presley and wife Charity of Montezuma; and nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts and a host of friends.

Funeral service will be held at Montezuma Mennonite Church on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 10:30 AM.  Burial will follow at Montezuma Mennonite Cemetery.  Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Montezuma on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
