Norma Irene Perkins-King, 87, died May 24, 2014 at Harry Hynes Hospice, Wichita. She was born on September 10, 1926 in Wichita, the daughter of Fred and Myrtle (Hupp) Busch.
Norma grew up in Wichita and attended schools there. She was a home maker and took pride in caring for her family, especially cooking for them. Norma also liked to play bridge and make candles.
Norma is survived by one son, Gary Perkins and wife Mary Lou of Wichita; one sister, Frances Eells of Wichita; one daughter-in-law, Rosemary Perkins of Denver, Colorado; two granddaughters, Teresa Perkins of Wichita and Diana Perkins of Yuma, Arizona; two great grandchildren, Dalton Neal of Wichita and Ella Hale of Yuma, Arizona; step sons and daughters from the King family; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; spouses, William Perkins, Sr. and Richard King; a son, William Perkins, Jr.; a brothers, Ray Wasser; and two sisters, Thelma Maxwell and Mary McKnight.
Graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. There will be no visitation.
