Obituary
MORELAND, OKLAHOMA - Norman Gene Worthey, 75, died December 24, 2013 at Heritage Manor, Moreland, Oklahoma. He was born on August 5, 1938 at Garden City, the son of Harry and Helen (Bethel) Worthey.
He joined the US Navy in 1956 and was honorably discharged in 1963. Norman was a longtime Hodgeman and Ford County resident until 2005 when he moved to Woodward County, Oklahoma.
He was a member of the I.O.O.F. of Dodge City.
Norman is survived by two sons, Leslie Worthey and wife Gayle of Jetmore and David Worthey of Woodward, Oklahoma; three daughters, Lisa Larios of Moreland, Oklahoma, Dawnita Neave and husband Albertico of Dodge City and Debora Zarate and husband Pedro of Dodge City; 15 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; a brother and three sisters.He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Wilma June, a son, Patrick Ray, a grandson, Leslie Eugene, two great grandchildren, MarXaylon and A'Xaylon, three brothers and three sisters.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 2, 2013 at Fort Dodge Chapel, Ft. Dodge. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
