Dodge City - Oscar Donjuan, Jr., 7, died March 4, 2020 at his home in Dodge City. He was born on March 16, 2012 in Dodge City, the son of Oscar and Guadalupe (Cabrera) Donjuan, Sr.
Oscar attended Beeson Elementary where he was in the second grade. He enjoyed watching you tube videos about different models of cars. Oscar could tell anyone every make of car there was. He also liked to learn about the moon, stars, and the universe. Oscar loved playing with his little brother and listening to music with him. Oscar was a daddy's boy. He was always wanted to be with his daddy.
Oscar is survived by his parents of the home; two brothers, Cesar Donjuan of the home and Manuel Donjuan of Richland Hills, Texas; a sister, Claudia Donjuan of Richland Hills, Texas; maternal grandparents, Juanita Catalan and Thomas Cabrera of Mexico; paternal grandparents, Evelia Marino and Manuel Donjuan of Dodge City; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his great grandmother, Micaela Alarcon; great grandfather, Camerino Marino Martinez; and three uncles, Julio Cesar Donjuan, Jesus Cabrera, and Cesar Catalan.
Visitation will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Dodge City on Sunday, March 8, 2020 from noon to 5:00 PM. Vigil service will be held at Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be held at Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Juan Salas presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Memorials are suggested to the family in care of the funeral home. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
