Dodge City - Pat Jo Dalgarn, 83, died May 7, 2018 at Manor of the Plains in Dodge City.  She was born on July 15, 1934 in Dodge City, the daughter of Guy and Ella (Schechter) Mallonee.

Pat was a lifetime resident of Dodge City.  She was the fifth child born into the family and the first one born in a hospital.  She attended schools in Dodge City, graduating with the class of 1952.  She married Arnold (Art) Dalgarn on March 19, 1960 at the First Christian Church in Dodge City.

Pat was actively involved in the Christian Church, a 33 year member of the Moose Lodge, Dodge City Community Concert Association, and Extension Homemakers Unit.

Pat is survived by her husband Art, Dodge City; sisters Mary Klein, Irving, Texas; Betty Setzkorn, Dodge City; sister-in-law Maurice Mallonee, The Dalles, Oregon; nephews Craig Klein, Celeste, Texas; Ted (Pam) Setzkorn, Dodge City; Michael Mallonee, Seattle, Washington; nieces Kristi (John) Wilson, Irving, Texas, Michelle (Dan) Maurice, Lyle, Washington; Laurie Klein, McKinney, Texas; Terri (Craig) Childress, Portland, Oregon; Marsha (Mark) Meyer, Tampa; and Sandy (Nathan) Showalter, Rush Center; several great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; and one great-great-great niece. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jimmy and Guy, Jr. (Pete); brothers-in-law, Bill Setzkorn and Alex Klein; and a nephew Marty Klein.

Funeral service will be held at First Christian Church, Dodge City on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 10:00 AM with Mr. Richard Crocket presiding.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove in Dodge City.  Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Dodge City on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 12:00 – 8:00 PM.  Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church in care of the funeral home.  Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
