Garden City - Patrick Kash, 84, died November 18, 2020 at The Ranch House in Garden City.  He was born on September 18, 1936 in Lakin, the son of Edith Kash.

Patrick spent his early childhood in Lakin.  He later moved to Garden City where he graduated from Garden City High School.  He went on to attend college.  Patrick married Ruby Johnson.  She preceded him in death.  After their marriage, Patrick worked in the oil fields before driving truck for Graves Truck Line.  He enjoyed competition shooting, camping, hunting, fishing, and coffee with his friends.  Patrick was a faithful man of God, studying the Bible daily.

Patrick is survived by three children, Steven Kash of Topeka, Patricia Prince and husband Robert of Garden City, and David Kash of Waukesha, Wisconsin; eight grandchildren, Justin and Janae Kash, Noah, Amber, Levi, and Ethan Prince, Josh and Jeremiah Kash; and two great grandchildren, Tristan Prince and Avery Lee Kash.  He is also preceded in death by his mother.

A private family service will be held at a later date.  There is no visitation as cremation has taken place.  Swaim Funeral Chapel of Dodge City assisted the family with arrangements.  Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
