Patsy Ann (Logan) McDonald, 77, died Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City. She was born on July 17, 1932 at Talihina, Oklahoma, the daughter of Oscar G. and Edith J. (Wall) Logan.

On July 3, 1950, she married Lawrence Edward (L.E.) McDonald in Poteau, Oklahoma. They moved to Dodge City for the first time in 1958. During their married life, Patsy moved 52 times, following her husband's job. She served for 28 years as the church clerk for First Southern Baptist Church of Dodge City. Mrs. McDonald was active in church work her whole life.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dodge City.

Patsy is survived by her husband Lawrence Edward (L.E.) McDonald of Dodge City.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home on Monday, October 19, 2009 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Rick Cope presiding. Entombment will follow at Scroggins Memorial Mausoleum in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Sunday, October 18, 2009 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM with the family receiving friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
