Dodge City - Rachel Dawn Rumbaugh, 26, died April 15, 2023 at her home in Dodge City, Kansas. She was born on August 28, 1996 in Perryton, Texas, the daughter of Mark and Janelle (Hoover) Buschman.

She worked as a substitute teacher and para but her favorite job was being a mom. She married Blake Rumbaugh on February 11, 2023.

She was a member of the Community Worship Center in Perryton, Texas. Rachel loved being a mom and spending time with family. She enjoyed crocheting, outdoor walks at the lake, and music. She played piano and bass guitar.

She is survived by her parents; loving husband; son, Jack Buschman; a sister, Cindy Escobar (Miguel) of Perryton, TX; a niece, Rose Lynn Escobar; and many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Alvin and Lois Buschman; and maternal grandparents, Don and Marlene Hoover.

Memorial service will be held at Community Worship Center, Perryton, Texas at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 22, 2023 with Pastor Kevin Britton presiding. There is no visitation as cremation will take place. Memorials are suggested to an organization of the donor's choice.
