Dodge City - Raymond Elmo DuPree, 90, died June 25, 2024 at Trinity Manor in Dodge City.  He was born on March 21, 1934 at Dodge City, Kansas the son of Rex and Melva (Snyder) DuPree.

Raymond was a lifetime resident of Dodge City.  On April 2, 1952, he was united in marriage to Shirley Johnston in Tucumcari, New Mexico. Together they raised three children, Terry, Sherry, and Vickie.  Raymond worked for the Dodge City COOP feed mill for 47 years.  He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, and teaching the kids how to water ski at Cedar Bluff.  Raymond was a loving husband, caring father, and a good worker.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 72 years, Shirley of Dodge City; three children, Terry DuPree of Dodge City, Sherry Foskuhl and husband Gary of Dodge City, and Vickie Herrington and husband Jeff of Dodge City; four grandchildren, Michael DuPree and wife Tonya, Michelle Howard and husband Louis, Nicole DuPree, and Stephanie Herrington; 15 great grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and four siblings, Rex DuPree, Rowena Steele, Delores "Dody" Jones, and Donald "Donnie" DuPree.
