Minneola - Raymond K. Mayfield, 66, died October 2, 2017 at  Minneola District Hospital in Minneola  He was born on November 9, 1950 at Dodge City  the son of  Esker and Katherine (Smith) Mayfield.

He worked in the beef industry for many years and enjoyed trap shooting watching KU Basketball and Kansas City Royals Baseball.

He is survived by his son Kent Mayfield and partner Robbie Hyre of Denver, Colorado; two sisters Sharon Saunders of Dodge City; Nina DuPree of Balch Springs, Texas; sister-in-law Shelby Mayfield of Wichita and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Ronald Mayfield.

Memorial graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery on Saturday October 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.  Memorials are suggested to Raymond Mayfield Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
