CIMARRON - Robert "Chris" Christian Moore, 39, died September 15, 2016 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. He was born on April 27, 1977 at Ulysses the son of Robert and Suanne (Payne) Moore.

Chris was a 1995 graduate of Ulysses High School and received his Bachelor's degree in AG Business from Kansas State University in 1999. On May 18th, 2006 he married Nicole Smith. He worked for Winter Livestock in Dodge City where he was the sale barn manager. Chris enjoyed spending time with his sons, and riding and roping.

He attended the Kalvesta United Methodist Church, and was a member of the NRA and AQHA.

Chris is survived by his wife, Nicole Moore of Cimarron; two sons, Reed Coy Moore and Wesley Chase Moore both of the home; father, Robert Moore of Ulysses; sister, Amy Cruth and husband Brandon of Lubbock, Texas; grandmothers, Joan Payne Jantz of Cimarron and Ruth Moore of Ulysses; three nieces and two nephews; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Suanne Moore; his Papa, Bob Payne; grandpa, Robert Moore; and uncle, Gary Payne.

Funeral service will be held at the Cimarron United Methodist Church on Tuesday September 20, 2016 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Mike Keating presiding. Burial will follow at Cimarron Cemetery in Cimarron. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel of Cimarron on Monday September 19, 2016 from Noon to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Moore Children Education Fund or WRCA Cowboy Crisis Fund both in care of the funeral home.
