Dodge City – Robert G. Haskell, 81, died June 15, 2025 at his home in Dodge City.  He was born on October 4, 1943 at Dodge City, Kansas the son of Earl and Opal (Barnes) Haskell.

He married Carolyn Andrews on December 2, 1962 at the First Christian Church in Dodge City, Kansas she preceded him in death on March 4, 2008. Robert was engaged in farming and also worked for Stanley Feed Yard for a while before going to work for his son Brent Haskell.

He was a member of the First Christian Church in Dodge City.

He is survived by one son Brad Haskell and wife Tamra of Arapaho, Oklahoma, daughter-in-law Brianne Haskell of Dodge City; five grandchildren Hannah Brosseau and husband Nick of Aubrey, Texas, Laryssa Haskell of Enid, Oklahoma, Aaron Haskell and fiance Lora Buntin of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Brock Haskell and Brielle Haskell of Dodge City, two great grandchildren Amelia and Lauren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son Brent Haskell.

Private memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.  Memorials are suggested to Robert G. Haskell Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.  Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
