ROBERT WAYNE HOUSTON
Dodge City - Robert Wayne Houston, 62, died March 30, 2015 at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City. He was born on August 25, 1952 at Big Spring, TX the son of Isaac and Cora Lee (Tillis) Houston.
He married Josephine Payne and they later divorced. From their union was born Robert Houston, Jr. Robert worked at beef packing plants and was a carpenter.
Robert is survived by one son, Robert Houston Jr. of Wichita; three brothers, Sylvester Thomas of Dodge City, Ray Charles Thomas of Dodge City, and Dickie Milton of Big Spring, Texas.
Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home in Dodge City on Monday, April 6, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Mr. Arthur Foote presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Sunday, April 5, 2015 from 12:00 to 6:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to Robert Houston Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
