Wichita - Robert Augustus Nicholas, 91, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 24, 2024. He was born to David and Nelle (Loftin) Nicholas at Stafford County, Kansas on January 5, 1933.

Robert graduated Pratt High School, served in the United States Air Force, and then graduated from Kansas State University; receiving a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked for One Gas until retirement.

Robert is survived by his wife Patricia, being married for 62 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jim Nicholas.

Funeral service will be held at Dodge City Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday May 29, 2024 at 10:30 AM with Mr. Jeff Hiers presiding.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City with military honors by the SWKS Veterans Funeral Honor Guard. There will be no visitation.
