Dodge City - Roy Baxter, 66, died March 31, 2023 at St. Catherine's Hospital in Dodge City. He was born on January 18, 1957 at Dodge City, Kansas the son of Elmer and Mary Jane (Davis) Baxter.

Roy was a very avid Denver Broncos fan and also loved to watch KU Basketball. He was very active in Special Olympics winning many medals of the years. Roy was loved by everyone he met and had such a infectious smile and was always happy.

He is survived by his Arrowhead West family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Robert and Lloyd Baxter.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Cimarron Cemetery in Cimarron, Kansas. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to Arrowhead West Client Assistance Program in care of the funeral home.
