SUBLETTE – Ruby A. (Blasdel) Powell died March 27, 2018 at the Lone Tree Retirement Center in Meade.  She was born on July 7, 1925 in Kalispell, Montana, the daughter of Jesse and Ethel Eliabeth (Bowman) Blasdel.

Ruby graduated from Kalispell High School in 1945.  She worked as a telephone operator and school bus driver.  Ruby moved to southwest Kansas, living in both Sublette and Satanta communities for many years before moving to the Lone Tree Retirement Center in Meade.

She is survived by two sons, Elmer Sather of Maryland and Melvin Sather of Wyoming; several grandchildren; and a sister.
