Dodge City – Samantha Wray Allen, 40, died January 3, 2025 at her home in Dodge City. She was born on August 1, 1984 in Dodge City the daughter of Terry and Belinda (Austin) Rabe.

She graduated from Dodge City High School and furthered her education by attending Cosmetology School and receiving her cosmetology license. Samantha also worked as a server and bartender at the Dodge City Country Club and for several high end restaurants in the Kansas City area. She enjoyed working on art projects in her spare time.

She is survived by her parents Belinda and Terry Rabe of Dodge City; grandfather Darrell Austin of Partridge, Kansas; Uncle Gordon Austin and wife Polly of Garden City, her cousins Jesse Austin of Pennsylvania and Carly Austin of Garden City, Kansas and the Rabe uncles and aunts; Gary Rabe, Randy Rabe, Cindy Rabe, Kevin Rabe and Jan Rabe, Kenny Rabe, Tom Rabe, Bob Rabe and Penny Rabe and numerous Rabe Family cousins.. She is also survived by her biological father, Jeff Allen and her dog Buddy.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Colena Austin, Virgil and Connie Allen and Marvin and Agnes Rabe, and one Uncle Tim Rabe.

Memorial service will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Saturday January 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Mr. Jeff  Hiers presiding. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
