DODGE CITY - Sandra "Sandy" Louise Unruh, 80, passed away from Pancreatic Cancer on April 23, 2021 at Dodge City. She was born on December 11, 1940 in Bowie, Texas, the daughter of Lawrence and Mary (Melton) Rudd.

Sandy was a graduate of Bucklin High School and then attended Emporia State University. On November 11, 1961 she married Glenn M. Unruh in Bucklin. She was a longtime administrative assistant for the Bucklin Schools.

Sandy is survived by her two sons, Craig Unruh and wife Donna of St. Louis, Missouri and Darin Unruh and wife Karie of Dodge City; five grandchildren, Emily Unruh and fiancee Dallas Garrison, Evan Unruh, Cecilia Nguyen and husband Damien, Sadie Ortiz and husband Victor, and Samuel Unruh and fiance Michelle Brown; four great grandchildren, Maddison Ortiz, Victor Ortiz,V., Avah Nguyen, and Avery Nguyen; and one brother, Roger Rudd and wife Sharron of California. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn M. Unruh; a son, Dennis Unruh; a grandson, Scott Unruh; great granddaughter, Georgia Nguyen; and brother, Phillip Rudd.

As per her request cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
