Shari Ann Quisenberry, 60, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 in Springfield, Missouri. She was born on May 14, 1950 in Dodge City, the daughter of the late Jim and Lynn Hewes, and Phil and the late Marianne Strong.

Shari had been employed as a licensed practical nurse.

She is survived by her children and their spouses; Aaron and Tricia Quisenberry of Bonner Springs, Rick and Christy Hay of Woodward, Oklahoma, Kim and Jimmy Rogers of LaCygne, Wendy and Troy Leith of Abilene, and Paula and Jim Stigall of Republic, Missouri; her father, Phil Strong of Dodge City; two sisters, Tammy Trabert of Dodge City and Tonya Broberg of Wichita; 16 grandchildren; and one great grandchild. Shari was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Quisenberry; one brother, David Hewes; her father, Jim Hewes; and her mother, Marianne Strong.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Swaim Funeral Home on Monday, March 14, 2011 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Dick Robbins presiding. At Shari's request, coffee and donuts will be served beginning at 10:00 AM prior to the service. Memorials are suggested to the Shari Quisenberry Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
