DODGE CITY - Sharon M. Scarborough, age 60, died Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Western Plains Medical Complex at Dodge City. She was born on May 17, 1950 at Great Bend, the daughter of Arthur Lee and Dorothy Marie (Thul) Chiles. She attended schools in Medicine Lodge and Liberal. Sharon was a certified medication aide at the Kansas Soldiers Home of Ft. Dodge for several years. On June 30, 2000 she married Bill Scarborough at the Ft. Dodge Chapel at Ft. Dodge. He survives.

Sharon was a member of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband Bill Scarborough of Ft. Dodge; three sisters, Mary Helfrich of Terre Haute, Indiana, Linda Conley of Dodge City, and Patty Maas of Dodge City; five nephews, four nieces and three great nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David Chiles.

There will be no public visitation as cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be at a later date at Kansas Veterans Cemetery of Fort Dodge, Kansas.
