Derby - Sheila Ann Lampe, 71, died June 8, 2018 at her home in Derby.  She was born on December 23, 1946 at Dodge City, the daughter of William Joseph, Sr. and Juanita June (Stinson) Heinz.

Sheila grew up in Dodge City and attended St. Mary's High School in Dodge City.  On July 26, 1963 she married Darrell Lampe at Clayton, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on September 20, 1990. A longtime resident of Texas, she recently moved to Derby to be close to family.  Shelia loved animals and leaves behind her precious dog Abby.

She is survived by her son, Dion Lampe and wife Monique Dykstra of Highland Village, Texas; a daughter, Lisa Penka of Derby; six grandchildren, Dylan Penka, Lexi Penka, Jordon Krolski, Chase Penka, Conner Penka and Caden Lampe; two brothers, BJ Heinz, Jr and wife Jennifer and Robert Heinz and wife Geri both of Dodge City; and sister, Barbara Summers of Johnson. Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a daughter, Christina Krolski.

Vigil service will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 7:00 PM. Funeral mass will be held at Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Friday June 15, 2018 at 10:00 AM.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City.  Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Thursday June 14, 2018 from Noon to 7:00 PM.  Memorials are suggested to Susan G. Komen for the Cure in care of the funeral home.
