Celebrating the life of Susan Blanch Venegas, born on November 20, 1946, in Topeka, Kansas, to Arthur and Antoinette (Cook) Noller, who passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026, in her beloved home in Dodge City, Kansas.

Susan worked as a dedicated cook at Muddy Waters, the Hitchin Post, and El Charro among many other establishments. She had a reputation of being a great cook in Dodge City known for her Spanish food, especially her enchiladas. A true testament to her caring nature, she cherished every moment spent with her family and was very proud of them. Susan spent her days nurturing her family and found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. Whether she was floating in her pool or getting lost in a good book. She loved all animals and was very passionate about horses, she loved going horseback riding. She would also go to many venues to dance. It was something she loved doing. She was not just a hardworking mom; she was the heart of her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Salvador "Sal" Venegas; children, Tim Venegas (Diane), Dawn Briney (fiance, Shawn), and Joe Venegas (Tracy); grandchildren, Bret Wilson, Clint Miller, Joey Venegas, Marisa Venegas, Christopher Venegas, Ryan Venegas, Michael Venegas, Nick Briney and Katelyn Briney; great grandchildren, Saraya, Harper, Everly, Allina, Anthony, Dominic, Mila, Christopher, Elliot, and Julian "JP"; siblings, Nancy Main (Richard), Patricia Krug, and Debbie Huff (Darrell). Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Antoinette (Cook) Noller.

Memorial service will be held at 10:00AM Friday, September 4, 2026 at Swaim Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ryan Ausmus presiding. There will be no visitation as cremation will take place. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guestbook at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
