Sublette - Susana W. Fehr, 52, died June 6, 2017 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.  She was born on August 22, 1964 in Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua, Mexico,  the daughter of Gerhard and Maria (Krahn) Wieler.

Susana spent her childhood in Campo #78 Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua, Mexico. On July 4, 1982, she was united in marriage to Ben Fehr.  He survives.  In 1996, the family moved to Texas.  The next move for them was to Sublette in August of 2000.  Susana loved caring for her family and she did so with a joyful heart.  In 2014, Susana accepted Jesus as her personal Savior.  As her faith grew, Susana wanted to share her testimony of her salvation with others.  She enjoyed reading her Bible and listening to Christian songs.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Ben of Sublette; 10 children, David Fehr and wife Anna of Ulysses, Ben Fehr and wife Anna also of Ulysses, Nellie Wiebe and husband Jake of Alberta, Canada, Johnny Fehr and wife Nellie of Copeland, Frank "Kiko" Fehr of Sublette, Sarah Wiebe and husband Willie of Alberta, Canada, Judy Fehr, Susie Fehr, Henry Fehr, and Abe Fehr all of Sublette; her mother, Maria Wieler;  five brothers, Jake, George, Peter, Ben, and Corny; eight sisters, Anna, Maria, Margaret, Helena, Gertruda, Katharina, Aganetha, and Sara; and 16 grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her father, Gerhard; step-father, Isaac Dyck; two sons, George and Peter Fehr; and one grandson, Nathan Fehr.

Funeral service will be held at Mennonite Evangelical Church, Copeland on Friday June  9, 2017 at 2:00 PM with Minister Hein Friesen presiding.  Burial will follow at Copeland Cemetery.  Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel, Sublette on Thursday June  8, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.  Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
