Teri Valencia of Wichita, Kansas went to her Eternal Home in Heaven on May 1, 2021. Teri was born on May 21, 1949 in Ensign, Kansas. She was the youngest child born to Jesus and Candida Sanchez.

Ms. Valencia was a beautiful, kind person who loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grand children as well as shopping...Teri loved to shop and wasn't about to let any bargains get away. We cannot fail to mention that she also had 4 grand pups that she was very fond of.

Having worked in Education for many years she touched and helped shape the lives of many. Those who had the pleasure of knowing her couldn't help but to love her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Alfonso Sanchez, sister Mary Garcia and youngest daughter Teresa Valencia.

Teri is survived by siblings, Rosie Arriaga of Dodge City, Johnny Sanchez of Arkansas City, Robert Sanchez of Wichita, Freddy Sanchez of Dodge City, and her children, Marty (Michelle) Sandoval of Arizona, Lisa Sandoval of Wichita, Amber Valencia of Wichita, Ryan (Lucero) Valencia of Wichita and Tyler Rodriguez of Wichita, As well as 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren (with one more grandchild due any day).

We will be celebrating her life on May 21, 2021 at The Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Dodge City, Kansas.   Rosary will be at 9:30 am with the funeral immediately following at 10:00 am.  A private burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery.
