Dodge City - Terry L. DuPree, 72, passed away on February 23, 2025 at Dodge City.  He was born on September 12, 1952 at Dodge City, the son of Raymond E. and Shirley (Johnston) DuPree.

Terry grew up in Dodge City and later near Wilroads. He was a graduate of Ford High School in Ford. Growing up Terry enjoyed riding dirt bikes and spending time with his family at Watersport Campgound and Cedar Bluff. After high school he married Nancy Austin and they had two children, they later divorced. He was a rural mail carrier for many years. Terry was one that could always make everyone laugh. His greatest joy was his great grandsons and having hat day with them.

Terry is survived by his children, Michael DuPree and wife Tonya of Dodge City, Michelle Howard and husband Louis of Dodge City; grandchildren, Taggart Ketron, Kiffany Waughtal and Nate, Karissa Waughtal and Paul, Brooke Applegate and Eli, Tristin Waughtal, Keysha Howard, Kamry Howard, Keenan Howard, Kordell Howard; great grandchildren, Kamden, Andrew, Jayden, Jeremiah, Declan, and Jaspar; his mother, Shirley DuPree of Dodge City; and two sisters, Sherry Foskuhl and husband Gary and Vickie Herrington and husband Jeff both of Dodge City. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond DuPree.

Book signing and gathering will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Monday, March 10, 2025 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM.  The family will be present to receive friends.  Memorials are suggested to the Terry DuPree Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.  Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
