THOMAS "LEON" BRADY

Dodge City - Thomas Leon Brady, 78, died November 18, 2014 at Via Christie St. Francis Campus, Wichita. He was born on November 11, 1936 in Garden City, Kansas, the son of William D. and Matilda Marie (Dreiling) Brady.

Leon was raised on the family farm north of Cimarron. He graduated from St. Mary Of The Plains High School in
1956. Mr. Brady also graduated from St. Joseph College in Rensselaer, Indiana in 1960.

Mr. Brady was a dedicated farmer and was very family oriented.

Leon married Martha Jane "Marty" Gow on June 25, 1960 in Rensselaer, Indiana. She preceded him in death on January 9, 2003. He later married Donna Flowers on March 17, 2007 in Tucson, Arizona.

He was a member of Cathedral Of Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Dodge City.

Leon is survived by his wife Donna Brady, Dodge City; two sons, Matt Brady, Colorado Springs, Colorado and Thomas Leon Brady, Jr., El Dorado, Kansas; two daughters, Tina Rakes, Baldwin City, Kansas and Tracy Fesler, Nashville, Tennessee; three brothers, Delmar Brady, Hutchinson, Kenneth Brady, Colorado Springs, Colorado and Joseph Brady, Coaldale, Colorado; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren and one on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Marty Brady and two brothers, Dwane and Richard Brady.

Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City. Funeral Mass will be held at Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dodge City on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Robert A. Schremmer presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Friday, November 21, 2014 from Noon to 8:00 P.M.
