Dodge City - Vickie Herrington, 67, died December 22, 2025 at Manor of the Plains in Dodge City. She was born on May 2, 1958 at Dodge City, Kansas the daughter of Raymond and Shirley (Johnston) DuPree.

She married Jeff Herrington on August 5, 1978 in Dodge City, he preceded her in death on June 27, 2025. She was the owner and operator of Jeff’s Water Works and HD’s sports bar. She loved to travel and go to the casino and especially loved going to the beach. .

Vickie is survived by her two daughters, Nicole DuPree of Dodge City and Stephanie Herrington of Dodge City; mother, Shirley DuPree of Dodge City; and sister, Sherry Foskuhl (Gary) of Dodge City. She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff; father, Raymond DuPree; and brother, Terry DuPree.

Family will receive friends at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Monday January 26, 2026 at 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
