Obituary
Virginia Lee Thornbrugh, 86, died Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Good Samaritan Center at Dodge City, KS. She was born on April 20, 1924 at Emporia, KS the daughter of Samuel and Dorothy (Stephens) Smith.
She worked as a secretary and file clerk for the Dodge City Medical Center.
Survivors include one daughter Linda Andrews of Denver, Colorado, one step daughter Bonnie Sims of Dodge City, two step sons Ross Thornbrugh of Toronto, Kansas, John Thornbrugh of Lake Jackson, Texas.
She is also survived by two grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, twelve step grandchildren and twenty one step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer, parents, and a infant son Edward Lee.
A private family graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery at a later date with Rev. Adelia Hooley presiding. Memorials can be made to Good Samaritan Center in care of the funeral home.
