Vui Thi Huynh, 73, died Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Wichita Specialty Hospital in Wichita. She was born on January 1, 1936 in Vietnam.

Vui moved to the United States in the mid 1980's. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, knitting, and playing bingo. The pride of her life was her grandchildren and great granddaughters.
Vui is survived by : one daughter, Trinh Nguyen of Dodge City; two granddaughters: Tuyen Esquibel of Dodge City and Thu Nguyen of Garden City; two grandsons: Quy Nguyen of Greeley, Colorado and Kenny Nguyen of Dodge City; and three great granddaughters.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home in Dodge City on Thursday, January 15th, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. with The Rev. Dick Robbins presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be held at Swaim Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 from 10:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M.
