Sublette - Walter Mosttler, 62, died August 31, 2020 at his home in Sublette.  He was born on December 7, 1957 in Julesburg, Colorado the son of Walter Doral and Elsie Katherine (Land) Mosttler.

Walter spent his early childhood in Julesburg.  He then moved with his family to Sublette.  Walter was a 1976 graduate of Sublette High School.  He worked a variety of jobs around Sublette including construction work and currently was working at T- L Irrigation in Sublette.  On September 7, 1985, he married Nancy Gaye Ewoldt.  She preceded him in death on January 11, 2017.

Walter enjoyed collecting coins and spending time with his family.  Holidays were a favorite for Walter.  He loved to be with his family on Christmas, Thanksgiving, and the fourth of July.  Walter was an avid Broncos fan.  Most of all, Walter was a faithful follower of Christ.

He was a member of Christ Church of Sublette.

Walter is survived by children, Domonique Mosttler and wife Kassie of Sublette; Brenda Mosttler and husband Kenny of Sublette and Blake Heady and wife Marcie of Kalvesta; three sisters, Kay Stamper and husband Chris of Richmond, Ohio, Wanda Piland and husband Bob of Monett, Missouri, and Janet Olsen of Atlanta, Kansas; two brothers, John Mosttler and wife Neva of Sublette and Kenny Mosttler and wife Brenda of Sublette; sister-in-law, Glenda Woods of Sublette; 22 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.  He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nancy; two sons, Blane and Brad Heady; a grandson, Lancy Heady; two sisters, Twila Mosttler and Sue Hafner; and three brothers, Alvin, Leon, and Richard Woods.

Memorial graveside service will be held at the Copeland Cemetery on Wednesday September 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Erwin presiding.
