Dodge City - Wanda Ivelisse Sierra was born on August 15th, 1955 to Emma Rodriguez and Jose Sierra in Guayanilla, Puerto Rico. She peacefully went home to Heaven on November 5, 2021 at the age of 66.
Wanda was deeply rooted in her faith and had a strong devotion to the Lord. She was a member and served at Centro Cristiano Casa de Paz in Yauco PR. She always knew how to make you feel at home. She enjoyed cooking and feeding her family authentic Puerto Rican dishes. She made certain to keep the culture alive through the generations.
Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was always delighted to hear all of their accomplishments big or small and somehow made a way to make you feel important regardless of the distance.
In 1979 she moved to the United States where she then set roots in Hartford, CT. She was a bus driver for the Hartford Public School System and then Broward County Schools when she moved to south Florida in 2004. She was a grandma to an uncounted number of kids.
