WANDA LEE WILLIAMS

Dodge City - Wanda Lee Williams, 78, died April 14, 2014 at Dodge City. She was born on September 19, 1935 at Dodge City the daughter of John Andrew and Martha Ann (Bates) Williams.

She married James O. Williams on January 7, 1953.

She was a member of Howard Gotschall Post #1714 V.F.W. and a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge both of Dodge City

Survivors include a son; Eddie Williams and wife Renee of Dodge City; a daughter, Delores Adams of Dodge City; one sister, Delores Hunter of Kansas City, Missouri; grandchildren, Jimmy Adams, Ross Adams and wife Joy, Kenny Adams, Levi Williams and Echo Williams; and great grandchildren, Kris and Trinity Adams. She was preceded in death by her husband James; her parents; one daughter, Salena Williams; two brothers, Richard and Leonard Williams; and one sister, Dorothy Jantz.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 18, 2014 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City with Rev. Michael Burns presiding. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home in Dodge City on Thursday, April 17, 2014 from 12:00 P.M. to 5:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to the Wanda Williams Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
