Dodge City – Willard "Bill" C. Starke, 70, died August 13, 2023 at his home. He was born on January 15, 1953 at Dodge City, Kansas the son of Joe and Moselle (Hainline) Starke.

He married Bonnie Blackmore on August 18, 1973 in Sublette, she survives. He was engaged in farming for several years.

He attended Cross Connection Church of Dodge City.

He is survived by his wife Bonnie of the home; two brothers Joe Starke, Johnathan Starke and one sister Faith Eves.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at Cross Connection Church on Thursday August 17, 2023 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Joshua Smith and Rev. Dave Erwin presiding. Burial will follow at Copeland Cemetery in Copeland, Kansas.  Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel in Dodge City on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 12:00 PM to8:00 PM.  Memorials are suggested to Cross Connection Church in care of the funeral home.
