Dodge City - William E. Billy Wordelman, 56, died October 31, 2015 at his residence in Dodge City. He was born on January 19, 1959 at Elkhart, Indiana, the son of Fredrick John and Isabel Margaret (Adamski) Wordelman.

He grew up in Dodge City and attended schools here and graduated from Dodge City High School in 1979.

He was a member of A.A.R.P..

Billy is survived by two sons, Darren Terveen, Ohio and Michael Harmon, South Dakota; a daughter, Cristi Cox, Mulvane; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Raymond Wordelman, Loredo, Texas, Leonard Wordelman, Elkhart, Kansas and Freddie Lee Wordelman, Ardmore, Oklahoma; four sisters, Nina Sanchez, Wichita, Anna Avritt, Theresa Gepner and Mary Stills all of Dodge City.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Fred Michael, Richard D., Darrin and Walter Wordelman.

A graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Dodge City on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Dick Robbins officiating. There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to William E. "Billy" Wordelman Fund in care of Swaim Funeral Home.
