Obituary

Dodge City - Wilma (Jones) Ridgway, 95, died Sunday, December 28, 2014 at , Good Samaritan Center in Dodge City. She was born on February 17, 1919 in Sylvia, Kansas, the daughter of Walter Perry and Mildred (Yust) Jones.

She married Harmon L. Ridgway on April 22, 1937 in Dodge City. Wilma and Harmon owned and operated Ideal Laundry and Dry Cleaners in Dodge City and selling it in 1957. Wilma was an avid bowler and enjoyed working with ceramics.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Order of The Eastern Star both of Dodge City.

Wilma is survived by three sons, Robert Ridgway and wife Carolyn, Orlando, Florida, Ivan Ridgway and wife Jeri, Ozawkie, Kansas and Raymond Ridgway, Sr., Dodge City, Kansas; a daughter Norma Wishon and husband Bobby, Dodge City, Kansas; nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on February 17, 2002, her parents and nine siblings.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City, on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Lance Carrithers presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from Noon to 8:00 P.M..
