YUVONNE "BONNIE" KILLIAN MOORE
Dodge City - YuVonne "Bonnie" Killian Moore, 89, died December 28, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital, Wichita. She was born on April 14, 1923 at Nekoma, Kansas, the daughter of Ernest Charles and Myrl (Murrah) Gabbert.
Bonnie moved with her family to Dodge City in 1929. She attended schools in Dodge City. She married James L. Killian on February 16, 1946 at Riverside, California. He preceded her in death on March 2, 1991. She married Raymond Moore in 1995 at Zapata, Texas. He died in 1997.
She worked as a seamstress and made custom draperies for over thirty years. She was employed for many years in Dodge City, and owned Killian Custom Drapery.
She was a member of the First Christian Church and G.G.F. Club, both of Dodge City.
Survivors include two sons Ed Killian, Spring Hill, Florida; Rod Killian, Dodge City; one daughter Marie (Kerbs) McGinley and husband Scott, Wichita; one daughter-in-law Paula Schreiber, Dodge City; one sister Jean Holsten, Dodge City; seven grandchildren, Justin Killian and wife Alisha, Jeremy Killian, Erin Killian, Jim Killian and wife Lynsi, Sarah Randall and husband Steve, Jeff Kerbs, and Kristin Sprott and husband Kevin, and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, one brother, Dale Gabbert, and two sisters, Delores Barton and Evelyn Willden
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Swaim Funeral Home, Dodge City, with Pastor Tim Barton presiding. Burial will follow at Greencrest Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from Noon to 8:00 P.M.. Memorials are suggested to Arrowhead West, Dodge City, in care of the funeral home.
