Obituary

Hanston - Conard Armantrout, 84, died September 25, 2018 at Hodgeman County Health Center in Jetmore. He was born on October 14, 1933 at Scott City, Kansas the son of Enard "Babe" and Lillian (Erskin) Armantrout.

He married Carla Sword on January 28, 1969 in Perryton, Texas, she survives. Mr. Armantrout loved drawing, painting, his show dogs and watching old movies. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

He was a member of the Black Powder Gun Club.

He is survived by his wife Carla of the home; six daughters Linda Lou Armantrout of Great Bend; Starlet Armantrout; Quina Sue Armantrout of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Robin Belvin and husband Arthur of McLoud, Oklahoma; Connie Gay Lobato and husband Aundrea Radsord of Shawnee, Oklahoma; Syndeity Ann Dutton and husband Bruce of Wichita; four sons Kim Armantrout and wife Jane of Norman, Oklahoma; Robin Skinner and Alice Drake of Dodge City; Teddey Lynn Armantrout of South Dakota; Conard Dwaine Armantrout II and wife Blanca of Hanston. He is also survived by twenty nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren, one sister Ocelia Lubers of Hutchinson; one niece Elonda Armantrout and husband Troy Koehn.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son Larry Armantrout and one brother William Alan Armantrout.

Graveside service will be held at Scott City Cemetery on Saturday October 13, 2018 at 2:00 PM. There will be no  visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to the Conard Armantrout memorial fund  in care of the funeral home.
