Dodge City - Joseph Leo Lapka Jr., 73, died October 12, 2025 at his home in Dodge City.

Joe worked about 50 years as a painter and handyman.

He is survived by his spouse, Debbie Lapka; three children, Briana Patton (Joshua), Eli Lapka (Ashley) and Ethan Lapka; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; his favorite sister, Pat Jordan; several cousins he enjoyed visiting with regularly and his "snack seeking and walking companion" Keller.
