Dodge City - Nick Mario Gonzales, 54, died October 1, 2017 in Kearny County.  He was born on December 16, 1962 at Rocky Ford, Colorado the son of Albert S. Gonzales and Virginia Castillo.

Nick grew up in Colorado and work for Ruben's Body Shop in Rocky Ford for 17 years. He moved to Dodge City and was currently employed with Fergerson's Furniture and Appliance of Dodge City.  Nick married Flora Lopez in Rocky Ford, Colorado.

He was a member of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe of Dodge City

Nick is survived by his wife, Flora Lopez of Dodge City; two daughters, Nancy and Flora Gonzales both of Dodge City; nine grandchildren, Rosie, Berta and Robert San Juan, Mario, Malaya, Gynecy, and Emilo Gonzales, Zaedyn and Xeniya Acuna; brother, Rollie Gonzales and four sisters, Ramona Gonzales, Angie Lerma, Cathy Gonzales and Jennie Gonzales. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Nicole Gonzales and one brother, Albert Gonzales.

Memorial service will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Friday October 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM with pastor Kirk Larson presiding.  There will be no public visitation as cremation has taken place.
